Academy of Usha בית דין של אושא
The Galilean seat of the Sanhedrin after the Bar Kokhba revolt, where the surviving students of Rabbi Akiva's circle reconvened and Torah leadership was rebuilt. Rosh Hashanah 31a–b lists Usha among the ten stations of the court's exile — from Yavneh to Usha (and back, and to Usha again) — and a series of foundational communal ordinances is cited in the Talmud as "enacted at Usha."
