Zechariah ben Yehoyada זכריה בן יהוידע
Kohen and prophet, son of Yehoyada. After his father's death he rebuked king Yoash and the people for abandoning God, and was stoned at the king's command in the courtyard of the Temple — a death the tradition never ceased to mourn. Not to be confused with the later prophet Zechariah ben Berechiah. Per the Rambam he received the Oral Torah from Yehoyada and transmitted it to Hoshea.
