Sanhedrin at Tzippori בית דין של ציפורי

The seat of the Sanhedrin after Beit Shearim, in the Galilean city of Tzippori where Rebbi (Yehudah HaNasi) spent his final years, listed in Rosh Hashanah 31a–b among the ten exiles of the court: "from Beit Shearim to Tzippori, and from Tzippori to Teveria." Here the Mishnah's redaction was completed and the patriarchate passed to Rabban Gamliel III, before the court's final move to Teveria.
